Links to nonexistent products

How to check and fix product links in answers that lead to missing pages or the wrong product

The widget gave a link along with a product name, but clicking it led to a page that does not exist, or the address was slightly different from the real one. If the product is not in the registered product list, the answer may guess an address from the name. Broken links send visitors to empty pages and reduce trust.

How to fix

  1. In the console, open the "Products" tab under "Knowledge" and check that the product is in the list and "View original" opens the real page. If it is missing, open the site source in the source list and click "Re-collect".
  2. In "Sources", check that the status is "Ready" and "Last collected" is later than when you added the product or changed its address. If it is earlier, re-collect.
  3. If product detail pages have no JSON-LD or OpenGraph product tags, add structured data with the correct address, then re-collect. Answers use the address in that data as is.
  4. If product addresses do not match the recognition rules, add the data-voidx-product marker and the address to the product card element. The rules are in Product cards not showing, and the method is in Preparing your site.
  5. In the Cafe24 app, products come in from Cafe24 automatically, so check that the product is registered, displayed and on sale. Changes are applied automatically after a short while.
  6. If the issue persists, contact us with your site address, the time it happened, your browser, the link from the answer, the actual product address, and a screenshot.
