What are tokens
Tokens are the unit that measures conversation usage. Each plan has a fixed monthly allowance, and a set amount is deducted each time a conversation ends.
The deduction per conversation is the same whether the conversation is long or short. So you can calculate in advance how many conversations your remaining tokens cover.
Allowance by plan

Prices shown exclude VAT. Each conversation (session) deducts 16,000 tokens, and this rule is the same regardless of plan or channel. Top-ups are available in the Cafe24 and Shopify apps by buying a token pack, and top-ups in the Cafe24 app cost KRW 20 per 1,000 tokens. For a directly installed widget, there is no top-up: change to a higher plan to get more tokens.
Plan tokens and purchased tokens

Plan tokens you do not use this month do not carry over to next month. Purchased tokens remain with no expiry, and they are credited only in the Cafe24 and Shopify apps. A directly installed widget has plan tokens only.
What happens when tokens run out
In a directly installed widget, when plan tokens reach 0, the widget stays visible but conversations do not open.

Answers already received are not erased. However, newly arriving visitors cannot start a conversation either.
The lock lifts when plan tokens are credited again on the next billing date. To unlock before then, change to a higher plan.
The console's "Token usage" screen shows remaining tokens and the usage rate. Past 70% of the limit, it changes to "Over 70% of the limit", and past 90%, to "Close to the limit".
Cafe24 store app
The Cafe24 paid app starts a 7-day free trial right after installation, with 600,000 tokens to use during the trial. When you pay for a plan, new plan tokens are granted.
