For a widget you installed yourself, up to 3 numbered suggested questions appear inside the input box when an answer finishes, but at some point they stopped showing. Suggested questions are added only to turns whose answer finished normally, and the Cafe24 app and Shopify app do not have this feature. Without the list, visitors take longer to think of their next question.
How to fix
- Check that the answer has finished generating. While it is generating, the list appears only faded.
- If a notice about the usage limit, session expiry, a declined request or an error appears below the answer, send a question once more and check the next turn. Turns that end with a notice do not get suggested questions.
- In the console, open "Token usage" and check that "Tokens left" is not 0. If it is 0, follow the steps in Tokens used up. Once tokens are replenished, suggested questions come back too.
- If they are missing only for certain questions, try questions on other topics as well. Suggested question candidates longer than 18 characters are not shown, so this can vary from turn to turn. The conditions for creating them are in Chat screen.
